Another Super Revealed 3/1/21

Today b.hollad.diecast showed pics of what is another super for 2021. These wheels have not been verified yet, but we are assuming they will put something similar.

This is the 2019 Audi R8 Spyder in a really good looking blue color. From these first pics it appears to be the same blue color they used on the Porsche 918 Spyder from 2020.

This made it's debut towards the end of 2020 in a white color. We have also seen this in a red version as well. It didn't take long before it became a $TH.

I'm sure we will see more pics soon and keep checking the Super Treasure Hunt Tracker for all the latest info and pics on the Supers.

An opinion by Matthew and Matthew’s Dad – It has become increasingly harder to find Super Treasure Hunts at stores. There are a variety of reasons, but it seems that the amount of people/collectors has grown. This is great for the hobby and for Mattel, but unfortunately makes it that much harder for the true collectors. Many of these people we run into at stores are not collectors but “flippers”. They are often looking for the quick profit on many of the collectibles. We see these same people waiting for hours for baseball, basketball and Pokemon cards. Just makes it extremely difficult for the average collector to know that you have to pay a premium for these items. We do not see this changing much and we will never know if Mattel will increase production of these chase pieces. Our guess is that they probably won’t, due to cost. A super with rubber tires and spectraflame paint does not cost more than the average car, but when your producing 100,000+, then that cost does add up. Good luck to all and happy hunting.
